Kanha National Park

Tigers, Meadows & Sal Forests in Kipling’s Jungle

Experience the Call of the Wild at Kanha

Located in Mandla and Balaghat districts of Madhya Pradesh, Kanha National Park is one of India’s finest wildlife reserves and a major highlight of the Kanha Tiger Reserve, which spans over 940 sq. km. It’s famously believed to have inspired Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book”, and it truly lives up to the imagination — with vast sal forests, bamboo groves, rolling meadows, and rich wildlife.

Home to the Royal Bengal Tiger, barasingha (hard ground swamp deer), leopards, sloth bears, and more than 300 bird species, Kanha is perfect for nature lovers, photographers, and wildlife enthusiasts looking for a raw, immersive forest experience.

With its well-organized safari system, eco-lodges, and guided tours, Kanha offers both adventure and serenity — all while promoting conservation and respect for the wild.
